Kelly's Biography
A successful entrepeneur as the owner of Richmond Hill Farm in Conifer, Co., Kelly Hendricks has been teaching students and
training horses full time since 1997. Her main discipline is Dressage, but she has also learned and studied from the natural
horsemanship school. She believes in a variety of methods to help both student and horse to have a caring and fun relationship.
Her mentors include Marty Martin, Buck Brannaman, Ray Hunt, Kyra Kirkland and Reiner Klimke.
After receiving a BA from Lehigh University in 1993, Kelly worked in direct sales and marketing building sales teams for 4
years. During those years, Kelly developed her skills working with teams and promoting communication through training that
helped generate greater productivity.
Kelly returned to her love for horses in 1997, working and managing small barns in the Denver area and creating a successful
training and boarding business. Her experience includes showing at local dressage shows, working towards USDF certification,
attending and teaching numerous clinics for riders and horse owners, and experimenting with trail and cow clinics. Kelly
has also studied with Damien Ficca at Arapahoe Community College, learning horse management as well as teaching and training
techniques.
Kelly's keen eye and incredible intuition for what the horse needs you to know, has helped countless riders become a better
partner for their horse.
As a co-facilitator in Aha! HorseSense workshops, Kelly has furthered her understanding of how horses help teach us just what
we need to know, and at the exact appropriate time we need to know it. She is excited about the learning and growth that occurs
with horses in the arena through experiential learning.
